Arthur Dent and Marvin the Paranoid Androidat a tractor tug-of-war. Arthur is terrified by the raw power displayed by the two contending tractors and is also besmeared with mud as the mighty wheels spin in an attempt to gain purchase in soggy soil. He's gone off to find some tea to calm down, but can only find stalls selling cider.
Marvin is behind the wheels of one of the tractors and is hoping that a sudden snap of the rope will send his tractor and himself hurtling towards the oblivion he craves.
