you can't use ANY of your sensesit says you can't see, feel, hear, taste or smell anything :( which leads me to believe its game over. so does anyone know if i should have done something different earlier?

can't be suck yetas everybody's been saying, try and look a few time, ONE of your senses will vanish from the list after a few times, then u will be able to go a certain direction depending on which sense has gone (but I can't remember how they go..sorry) ... so try it out a few times - or just goto gamefaq.com and get the walkthrough.

OhIt's something like "take towel off head". Just wait till you get to the Babel Fish! That kept me for hours
