
I agree with what you're getting at though.
I just think that whenever something gets argued away from the board, it loses another aspect of the whole 'anything goes' feel. I think that censorship in any way is evil, but it does mean that you have to put up with a bit of bullshit on the way.

I love chatting in threads, and I like talking to Syncubus. I just don't like to see threads started like this very often, and Sync's a 'frequent offender' in that regard IMO.
If 4 or 5 more people on the nightshift started doing this with the same regularity, it wouldn't be worth posting pics here at night, at least not for me.
I do agree with you that ALL aspects of this board are worthwhile and the permissiveness of this place is part of its appeal.
But abusing the spirit of the place too frequently runs the risk of undermining its central focus and appeal, which (I'm pretty sure you'll agree) is the posting of user-produced images.
