I complained to the blokewho writes the Bad Science column, because he got his chemistry wrong.
His emailed reply was very patronising and told me that he had 'simplified it' because some people wouldn't understand it if he used the proper scientific terminology.
If he's reading this; 'dissolves in water' is NOT the same thing as 'reacts with water and the resultant products dissolve in it'.
Still, he's more of a doctor than La McKeith will ever be.

Patronising about sums him upI was thinking of writing to ask him what his PhD was in - presumably it was in fucking everything all right since that seems to be his self-proclaimed area of expertise.
