Request? Teach me how to knit, dammit. I just spent the past more-than-one hours playing with yarn... and the only thing I have to show for it is annoyed hands and a ball of unraveled yarn.
Why is it old ladies and mentally challenged people can do it, but I can't?
I think I need bigger needles. The ones I have are incredibly small and the yarn I have is fuzzy and hard to work with. *excuses, excuses*
Oh. Hi. Don't mind me. I'm just ranting in your thread, because you're nice and you seemed the type to let me.

Forget knitting. It's for old ladies and mentally challenged people.

I need to find an old lady or a mentally challenged person...
I'm working on a project that needs specially custom-knitted stuffs... and I was hoping I could learn to do it myself. I try to be a jack-off-all-trades. Sometimes that works against me.
I'll stick to chainmail, which is much easier. *be's manly (not Lord)*

I never stopped to think about getting a machine to do it. I'll consider it, but because I'll probably only use it the once I don't know if it'll be worth the money, even secondhand. It might be cheaper to just hire a granny for a weekend. And a frog.
