you'll notice the difference, Illustrator is a vector program, the only vector that Photoshop can output is type. Everything else remains bitmap when saving.

No apology for accusing me of simply colour reducing a picture, and not actually putting in some hard work on a picture?
I'm no pro, and one day I will move onto Illustrator, but I would still like some retraction to you saying what I did was essentially cheating.

...it's not a simple colour reduction, so you could at least swallow your pride and admit you were wrong on that point!
Somehow I don't think I will be getting that though, so I will have to sit here happy in the knowledge that you were wrong.
