My Neighbour and fellow freemason worked on costume and set design in the 80'shis dad got him into it by buying him an original Dalek (full size tv prop from the 60's) as a kid, and he went on to make some
of the 80's Cybermen costumes, he still has one in his shed

that is very cool indeedI had a cyberman gun for a bit when i was a kid. Came from a Peter Davidson story. It looked very cool and a light lit up when you pressed the trigger button on it. But it was made of wood.
