i had trouble with the face. i just can't get it. how would i go about vectoring this (real vector i.e. a.svg file) - would that make it harder to do the face

too much detail and everything

# You can also use a Threshold effects layer on your source
which will help you figure out brightness boundaries. when you're shading.
