# Phwoar!
I'll fix your truss rod!

# Please do.
It's fucking annoying having my 12th fret permanently out, a banana for a neck and about a cm's worth of action above top frets.

Actually I don't mind the high action, but I'd like to be able to get a clear octave above open on the 12th.

# dum, dum dakka dakka zzz fuck!
I hate high action.

and fret buzz

had my guitar completely reset

(apparently)

action was still way too high and there was still buzz on the 7th fret

# Oh I got rid of buzz with moving the truss in the first place
I had it at fucking second.

# Is it an electric or acoustic guitar?
Most acoustic fret buzz on electrics is never heard when you put it through an amp.

How bad is it? Does it choke the note?

Have you changed strings since the guitar was set up? If you put a different gauge on, that would be enough to mess up the set-up.

# Mine could be heard, although compression helped.
My amp tends to just chuck all noise out fucking loud though, it's not a picky one.

# Would it be easier to get a new neck
And fix it on?

I had a fret rattle on my electric guitar, and hadto have all the frets ground down to make it stop rattling. The action is good though (which may well have been the source of the problem).

# Probably
But expensiver. I know that's not a word.
