John Smeaton
He's been proclaimed as 'BAAs Jack Bauer,' and seems to have amassed a cult status following the Glasgow Airport bombing after saying he was giving one of the terrorists a booting and that Glasweigans wouldn't stand for terrorism.

Basically
He was one of the witnesses that ran towards the exploding car to subdue the terrorists, Stephen Clarkson punched one while John Smeaton booted the other until the police were able to come along.
