it has a a number of little buggy things

and yes i hear you! Its redeeming feature is the load time - Blows me away each and every time
i have 7 on another pc at home and 8 at work

I still have CS2 on disk here

and I am very slightly tempted to re-install ImageReady but I KNOW there'll be issues and I just can't afford the time to play around with software. With my current deadlines I just need stuff that works properly with the minimum of tinkering (thankfully I managed to avoid the Acrobat install problems).

I just left CS2

suite on and installed CS 3 design as well. There are no conflicts between any of the versions apart from CS3 adopting all the associations. There are some plugin issues and interface problems with CS3 photoshop so I'd never lose CS2 just yet anyway.
