Thanks :)The rain effect is a custom brush. I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to save changes to custom brushes though. I've not long installed CS3 and there are some odd quirks with it.

It's the deepest application I know of.I think pretty much every feature I've played with has in turn led to another, deeper feature. It's seemingly bottomless.
