Well if you're able to code the site yourselfon your own PC, then you can copy across the files to the site you get with your hosting package. Most hosting packages will give you a way of copying the files across. Those are just two methods.
So look for some cheap hosting that meets the needs of the site you want to build, and look out for any mention of how to upload your content. If you can use FTP or SCP or it has SSH access, then you'll be sorted
