# I'm a Jock, I pay all my own tuition fee's and loans
Your (and my) taxes support me in no way.

# ... Scots in Scotland shouldn't pay tuition fees
and Universities receive a Unit of Teaching Resource for every (most) 'home' student from the Scottish Higher and Further Education Funding Council. ... but public money given to Universities pays my wages, so I really was just taking the piss. I'd have students better supported by government if I could.

# My tuition fee's for this year where £1734
I know you're not having a go mate, I paid taxes and complained jokingly about students once too, ah those were the days when men were men and sheep were wary.

# oh - sorry - this has kind of got out of hand...
£1734 seems like an odd number... is it a UG programme you're on or a PG one...?

# UG
Yeah thats without the pennies added on, dunno how they work it out, you have to pay £250 squid of it on your first day, if SAAS don't give you a loan.

# Well - I'm stumped
you might want to look into it... a Scot in Scotland shouldn't pay tuition fees... unless you've already done a degree...

I'm sure there's a reasonable explaination, but you might want to ask why you're paying fees.
