keep 'em busy while you finish the cooking! make sure no-one has more than 2 drinks before dinner, though, they probably won't have eaten all day and you don't want drunken idiots ruining all your hard work, do you?

10 minutes max for the starter, 30 minutes max for the main, about 30 seconds max for the dessert.

Those are some pretty slow cooking dishes..

I've got mixed bean filo parcels with sweet pepper and cherry tomato salad for starter, salmon steaks with a creamy cucumber sauce with new potatoes and green beans with parsley and butter sauce for the main, and a raspberry sorbet for dessert.

Just whack some frozen berries in a blender with some Ribena for a few seconds, and it's sorted =]
