p.s.went to see David Lee Roth in about 1989 (?) on the Skyscraper tour. Inagine my annoyance when I found that Billy S wasn't in the tour lineup... yes, I saw S. Vai but it wasn't the same... listened to some Mr Big for years until Paul Gilbert left. Damn.

yeah billy left the sky scraper tour because they wouldnt give him his creativity in the recording sessionsi wish i coulda seen DLR back then but i got to see him play with steve in 2005 and i met him too and it was AMAZING, absolutely the nicest guy you could hope to meet and one of the greatest bass players of all time!
