ACE!Although, I thought the idea of travelling faster than the speed of light was theoretically impossible, as time moves slower until you actually start moving backwards =[
Although if you had a "near light speed" drive, time might shift enough to propel the mass actually further, but not faster, than the light would be travelling... So you would get there sooner than the light, but without travelling faster...

this works differentlyit's all about expanding space behind you and contracting it in front of you. so you're moving much slower than light, it's space itself that's shoving you along. a bit like surfing through spacetime.
