# Our local church used to have 'Time flies, eternity remains', until it got burned down.
Firstly it got vandalised to say 'blow flies + human remains', then someone changed the first bit to say 'church dies'.

I'm not sure what 'church dies, human remains' is supposed to mean, but it fits well with the blackened ruins.
