# Well using the Beverley Sisters would be stupid.
But the joker has already been in Batman and died, or did I imagine that too?

# not in this series
that was in the previous series of films, this is a complete re-start of the story, using early comics as the basis, many of frank millers included (which wouldn't have been allowed if sin city hadn't been made, he's relaxed a lot since then)and is using a much darker version of the joker

still not as good as ceaser romero

# Oh it's a new series
All this accuracy snobbishness doesn't float my boat, but the films are enjoyable.

Can't wait for the next series of Batman films where the joker is raping nuns and fanny-slashing 6 year old girls.

# Well if you're being technical from the first film
Shouldn't Batman be pushing 70? We're old farts mate. We're the people that remember the first time round for everything:P

# I just assumed they'd done a "Star Wars" and gone back to the beginning where it all started
and this would be the 2nd in the "before Michael Keaton" era

# I think that's why they called the first one Batman Begins!

# It gave a neat ending
but killing the Joker was a bit like having Jesus kill Satan at the end of the Bible - it makes a good story, but makes everything else afterwards a bit pointless.
