Well it's perfectly acceptable in China if fact pretty much standardTo slurp your noodles. Other little gems I get from the chinese are, needing instruction on how to use a keetle, them not checking of water is in the kettle and them boiling the kettle and then looking suprised that the water hasn't boiled when they come back an hour later.
