hmmit's one of those uncomfortable situations where I've come up against the ultimate powerlessness of the consumer. I can call their customer service department and moan and reason and scream as much as I like, I know it's not going to change anything. And they're the only cable company that supply our area.

keep checking, and ask in a local tech forum.here we have the big two, but there are a few enterprising startups. i got turned on to one of them at a dorkbot meeting.
