No no, I absolutely loved Corpse Bride...I'm a total Burton freak, he can do no wrong in my eyes. But given that Corpse Bride was essentially *about* the songs, they just weren't that great - nothing in the league of Nightmare's What's This?, for example.
Sweeney is ace, though...highly recommended, just can't see why it's not a 15.
By the way, check out Elfman's first band, (The Mystic Knights Of The) Oingo Boingo - they're incredible. They did an amazing b-movie called The Forbidden Zone, if you ever get a chance...man, that's a trip. (*u*)
