look for the latency settings under 'preferences'maybe choosing another sound driver there will also produce better results (use an ASIO driver if there is one)

Thanks.I changed the driver to the one I usually use. I've not had it running for ages and it had reverted to the shitty one.

They can be either firewire or USB.It's pretty much down to the cabling.
