# why did you join here?
and what right do you have to tell people what they can and cant post?
(, Mon 28 Jan 2008, 14:42, archived)
# we've been here before if i recall.
firstly why did i join, i rather enjoy 99% of the images and comments posted on here and rather enjoy joining in with the mockery of folk or situations deserving of mockery, i'm rather fond of silliness involving kittens and as tricky as it may be for you to grasp i hate petty political correctness. there are lots of other reasons too but i'm bored with this bit now.
what right do i have to tell any one one what can and can't be posted, exactly the same right
as anyone to post anything they want. the last time i checked this is an open forum on which to post images and to comment on images posted by others, please correct me if i'm wrong, i may have missed a memo.
i find images such as the one above offensive, as i do other images that are spitefully bigoted in their nature and as such, in common with the poster of such images, have the right to post a comment saying as much.
if you disagree with me and consider mocking folk with disabilities purely because they have disabilities and are different from the majority of 'normal' folk acceptable i suggest to hit your ignore gstq button now. i would also suggest kraykan does the same if my comments cause him any distress or even if he thinks i'm just an opinionated wanker. it's no loss.
this will have to do for now because it takes me an age to type these bloody replies at a word a minute and hopefully something joyous is happening further up the board.
ignore is your friend.

# Whilst I respect your opinion
I think you would be better off responding to this in a personal message to me, or if indeed it bothers you that much, a letter of concern to the moderators.

I have seen these boards awashed with plenty of images and or comments that are not to my taste either, however, I do not, and will not try to rally people up against the original poster.

Im sorry this bothered you, offence was not my intent, had I used the image of a stereotypical 'redneck' or 'greasy teenager' I would have no doubt offended someone else.
