6 days now. (early days)with at least 6 months off.
Before this break I could count the amount of days I had not had a drink on 2 hands over the previous 7 years. I always enjoyed drinking, but it was getting out of control and I wanted to stop.
So I did.
Edit: I was diving further into a bottle every time I was stressed and with a business and high financial commitments one stresses alot.

i have no policy against drinking, but i rarely do./adult child of two alcoholic parents blog.
