# Soon as my dad starts playing string breakage happens.
I've never known someone go through as many strings. I break a bass string every now and then, but then that's much harder to do.

# Harmonica strings?
Cap'n, that's no harmonica....

I hate string breakage, snapped TWO at my last gig... :(

# You can play both at the same time, you know.
Manwife got a lovely present yesterday- 60s Gibson SG- the plain wooden one, not the red and black one. It's so pretty, and all we need to do is find some lovely strings for it.

Oooh, and his original crybaby! The feel of the band's going to change....

# Oooooo
That's a nice guitar... A very nice guitar.

I used my Fender Bassman for the first time last week. It's immense, and I'm very very happy :)

# Aces!
Chuffed for you.

Manwife's dad has some endorsement deal with a company I can't remember (samberg? That sounds familiar), and he brought his new baby to see us last night- it's a fucking beautiful piece of kit.

# Endorsement deal?
Ooooooooooooo

I'm never going to have one of them... I have to make do with a sticker of my signature on the headstock...

# Aye, my father in law, the rock star
bless him. Well meaning, curly haired lovely man. With a tiny little fiance that's dirtier than I am.

# O_o
*recovers jaw from floor*

See, this is why I'll never be a rockstar... Mrs. Doom is far too pure of mind...
