I make a card for some people at Christmas and Jim gets one from the girls on mother's day, which means that I do at least one. I do not do any buying of cards and nor do I do Father's day.
If I like someone enough to make them a card or write them a letter then that is fair enough, but if I don't then why fake it?
At work this Christmas an outworker who is well known to me and who my wife has done work for gave us a card, which was nice, but she got a card for everyone and having her standing next to Neil saying 'who is Neil?' waving a card with his name on it highlighted all that is wrong with people today.
They stand too close to Neil, the fucking lot of them.
