I haven't watched any korean films for agesI was very much in 'the scene' you know. I watched R-Point once, rather boring to be honest even for a horror movie, although it did score points for having a weird setting.

I thought it was okbut not really a horror. More a sort of slightly odd war thriller.
I finally bought myself a copy of The Host a couple of months ago. That was pretty cool.

I vaguely remember that when it came outAs it was by the same director as Memories of Murder, although reading the plot description on wikipedia doesn't exactly give me high hopes of the film.

True it's nothing groundbreakingbut as a stupid monster movie bought with an HMV voucher I got for christmas, it was about a million percent better than that shitty American Godzilla film.
