
eg an eyeball spinning in an eye and a head bobbing, while other things happen and the whole head moves around the screen and gets bigger and smaller etc...
is there a term/technique for that? Or is it just a combination of lots of things?

ways to skin a kitten.
you can use movieclips (little movies within a movie), load one movie on top of another...or just plan it out really carefully!!!

I am very good at achieving things, but often i don't go about it the 'proper' way. i just find my own way of doing it which can sometimes be much longer and complicated or sometimes much quicker and leaner.
In this case i would have been doing the long complicated thing :)
