and the os, if it suits your needs, is very cool. the only downsides for me are the wide screens and the lack of factory-ready tablet screens. that, and macbook pros dent really easily
that said, this wee acer is full of bullet holes, and plastic doesn't bend so well...

and my MacBook is extremely durable compared to all the PC laptops I've had in the past. It even copes with my kitten chewing the corners :-)
Mind you, if the Acer works with bullet holes in it, I'd stick with that brand...

and has the blessing of fanlessness. it's kind of magical, and i do love it. but sooner or later it will die, and i don't want to be left without a backup plan
plus, though it handles everything i throw at it with aplomb, it could be a leetle beet quicker
