well the town next to where it's held isn't wholly behind it and there's usually a lot of wranglign to be done with the local council over whether it can go ahead or not because of the huge numbers of people that come and there is inevitably some 'loud music' etc which can upset them a bit.
A meeting is currently going ahead and a vote for whether it can go a head or not this year www.c3x.co.uk/lmsg/lmsg.cfm is providing live updates.
