eeepi used to do incremental saves when i was doing my music tech a-level. ended up with about 1000 saves per completed piece.
but have stopped doing taht, probably will for my diss when i start it as it makes the most sense

another good trick is to set up an automated ftp task to your webserverso that you can press a button and magically get an offsite backup every week
this is no good if you don't have any private directories on your webspace though
