
ultimately it's his call, and I fully respect and share his concern for the welfare of a daughter around here, but this is the internet; and quite frankly he must of figured you are the fifteen year old you say you are, presumably Kitty's age, and not some fourty something no-hoper trying to groom, and allow you two to gaz each other as mates
Whilst he obviously might not want to spy into your communications as a parent, he would at least be aware they are comming from you and no one else

And he has said to me that he is 90% sure of who I am, but he does not want to risk that 10%, that keeps him "hyper-cautious".
Which, also, I respect.
It's not an ideal situation, but that's not the point.
