# Mofaha, do you like this?

# Hmmm
it's interesting but I'm not crazy about it really. I do like some drum-and-bass but this is a little broken up and non-melodic for my tastes. I loved bukem's stuff and other 'intelligent' d&b that was around in the very early 90's because I love the way the hard frantic beats drive the smooth synths along. I really liked some of the arrangements too... again, bukem was superb at pacing and contrast.

# I just found this in the wiki article about VIZ comic:
"The comic got in trouble with the United Nations after featuring a strip called 'The Thieving Gypsy Bastards'; unbeknownst to the Viz editorial team at the time, Gypsies are regarded as a race under UK law and thus the comic was guilty of racism. During the resultant court case, UK newspaper The Sun ran a story revealing that the principal Roma man who initiated the action against them was in fact also being tried for, and was later found guilty of, handling stolen property."

# Hahaha!
I love hearing stupid stories being told in a serious tone.

# most drum and bass just sounds the same to me now
burial is one of the most original producers i've heard in a long time. it's essentially dub-step.

# Yeah, I really like that new album of Burial's.
Great rainy day music.

# Yeah - they're two seperate genres
The main thing they share is that D&B took 8 years to get dull and boring and dubstep took 8 months.

Burial is a happy exception, he's an amazing producer.

# No way is Burial dubstep
There are no booming basslines at all

It's more like ambient garage.
