PersonallyI don't believe America elected or re-elected Bush. I believe he lost then cheated with the aid of his influencial supporters on both occasions.
Blair, on the other hand, was elected fair and square. I understand that's more of a comment on the lack of credible opposition in the UK, but him winning a third term was still frankly astonishing.

Pretty much.There was a good reason that Al Gore raised such a fuss in 2000- he knew what had really gone on, but wasn't able to come up with enough proof. Hell, most of us knew... And in 2004, it was the same shit again, only with a narrower margin.
