# breaking the rules before you know everything about them and have spent years following them
is a somewhat arrogant way of carrying on carrying on. 'Well I don't follow rules in art, I just do whatever I want.' will not get you very far at all. This is why revolutionary artists are very rarely under 25 - you need to study these things. Art these days is rarely there to look pretty, but if it is, then it is, and I'd personally say you can't turn back and say it's representational after that.

To me, art is as much a science as it is creativity, and if you're going to be going into the world of abstraction, get ready to learn a lot about a lot of people.

# I make pictures because it's fun.
I enjoy it, and I enjoy doing it my way.
I enjoy discovering new ways of getting strange effects.
I don't want to be a "revolutionary artist".
I want to be me, and I want to do things my way.

# Excellent!
In that case stop arguing about what's abstract and what's representational, and get on with doing some more pics as awesome as this one :P
