I think its the same as always though.When you have read the books so many times, you create this world in your head. And then it becomes manifest with all of these actors that you know so well and it doesnt really fit. There was a lot of stuff that wasnt in the film that I thought were the best parts of the book. Like the whole Al Neri character. I thought he was horrifically under-developed in the film.

fair do'syeah i know, it's generally my feeling that if a book is adapted for screen, it's best to watch the movie before reading the book (if you haven't already, obviously)
