
i don't get why people are so pedantic about grammar, i know english language Teachers who arent nearly as pissy about these things.

It just gets to me, I don't see how people could think it's 'of' as that makes no sense. You don't say 'I of been to Tesco' do you?

written grammar on an internet forum will usually be of a far lower standard than that used in say, an essay, because its faster,
its just a trend within the evolving conventions of internet language.
provided it makes sense, its achieved the point of language, to pass on information, grammar is just to aid that along.

Sorry, but you cannot convince me that declining standards in language caused by nothing other than laziness and apathy are a good thing.
