follow this:in illustrator
click file
click export
then select a name for your file and select .PSD from the drop down menu.
click save
open photoshop
open the file you just created. should work fine and keep all the data from the original

ah right no its not that.i'm clicking on the .exe file for illustrator and nothing is happening. the damned thing just won't open.

make sure that theshortcut you are trying to start still points to
Drive:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3\Support Files\Contents\Windows
and if not go to that folder, run the illustrator.exe in the folder and if illustrator starts just make a new shortcut to it.

Check it's not already running in Processes.Mine opens up a program sometimes but doesn't update explorer. Trying to open it again results in nothing, but if you delete the processes and THEN open it, it's fine.
