
as caewan also stated - standard response on board when someone pops up and requests we 'shop a pic. it's not meant in an utterly unfriendly manner, though it does appear (and at times, is) to be a tart retort.
many people here do ask for 'shopping - it's all in the phrasing, though. if you were to have written 'here's a pic of a bridge i drove across the other day, have at it!', you'd likely see two or three people responding with goatses (and a cdc, the fear stuck in, and possibly a snarncat). but by requesting 'shoppery, you invite the reflex reply.
of course, rps (unshopped photos) tends to be met with screams at times, too. so, there's always a risk.
