with the possible exception of shadows.

Ace work getting their feet all in the right plane. Did it take long or is the source fortuitously curved?

as for the feet.. i think i was pretty lucky with the source ;-).. i have to get by with luck rather than skill with my p'shopping.

I just noticed that it is not a shaddow on the leaf, but a darkened area from the bugs standing behind it.. (if that's the bit you meant ;-) )

just noticed the comment below.. he said it better with all the teknikal terms too.. ;-)

They are in shadow because they are not on top of the leaf.
The shadows for the bugs are the lower half of the bodies
block the sunlight showing through the translucent leaf.
