I get totally confused about spellings now. I've resisted US spellings as much as I could but I have to use them when I write to clients and I've noticed that I'm using them more now without thinking when I type.
Plus I've been here long enough that I'm at the stage where I sometimes get confused about which is the US and which is the UK spelling of a word. Although I don't think I'll ever get used to the single L thing. Words like traveller need to Ls to look right.
