I always presumed the hot anus curry thing was an amusing myth.I've never experienced such a thing from chilis or even my semi nuclear Korean noodles I was sent some years hence.
Although I have managaed to rub chili residule both in my eyes, nose and urethra - which is particularly unpleasant.
