i rather lost coherency a while agoThe ancient texts do have some similarities with the modern excerpt however; there is still an intent for later generations to use the work for greater understanding of the past and to learn from the events of the past. Though it may not seem obvious at first but an aspect of the moralising that we saw has survived into modern historical literature, though instead of being subjective morality stories as we saw earlier, we see the objectivity falter on occasions and judgement slips into the writers words.
