# no need to panic, the country keeps plenty in reserve for a few weeks for just such occasions
the last petrol strike taught 'em that.

although £1.20 for a litre of diesel - f.off. we need a strike or two NOW - my little Laguna could be filled up for £45 when I got her about 4 years ago. now, it's taking just over £60.
Still the mileage is ace :)

# Easy target, easy taxes
I hate them.

I don't own a car, don't really like them, but don't resent folks owning them to a degree

But talk about taxed by the bollocks!

I smoke, it's my choice, I don't make much fuss about the death toll caused by humans and their cars; but am an aghast at the 'Nanny state' taxing me to death far out of scale to any medical costs my habit might cost the NHS in the future. I worked out from a purchase from Belgium of £23 saved me £70 on Drum

That's just taking the piss. Given we will have a population crisis with OAP's surely we want to encourage people to kill themselves?
