# I will attend my first bash one of these days.
Probably wait till I'm living in Edinburgh.

I'm still but a baby. :P

# Well Capt Wow can change you!
Damn I jealous now! Just had a guest check in and they've come to London as they have tickets for QI!

How old are you then?
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:02, archived)
# *grooms*
i'm kidding guys...
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:05, archived)
# who has tickets for QI???
tell me, for i must now perform a jealousy killing!
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:07, archived)
# I get offered tickets for QI
a few times a year but I've only been once.
I shall give you a telephone number to ring next time they offer.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:08, archived)
# whatwhatwhat?!?!?! why on earth would you turn them down?
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:08, archived)
# because
I've been there and done that. I live for the most part in Cheshire, don't get to London a lot ( even though the wife works there all week ) and they are free and there will always be more.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:13, archived)
# if you do
i will have your babies*

*may not be entirely true
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:09, archived)
# Don't you just apply for them on the BBC website?
As with all other shows.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:10, archived)
# 0_0
i don't know.
i had no idea such awesomeness could happen without magics.

# will I still get to have the sex?
this is a very important matter.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:13, archived)
# if bill bailey and phil jupitus
are on the show that night, yes. if clive anderson and/or john sessions are on it, then no.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:17, archived)
# John Sessions??
arghhargghrgghargghargghhargghhh rage rage rage

(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:20, archived)
# i can't stand him
the smug luvvie twat.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:24, archived)
# I hated him in the 80's in Who's Line is it Anyway
and I only recently rediscovered him in QI. He is WORSE
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:26, archived)
# he ruined who's line
even more than clive anderson
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:27, archived)
# To be honest most of the English comics on Whose Line were shit.
The early seasons when it was always English comics are unbearable to watch.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:29, archived)
# Josie Lawrence?
*reaches for service revolver*
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:31, archived)
# Tony Slattery was fairly amusing at times.
Although I think that may well have been because he was actually clinically insane.

Colin Montgomery and Ryan Miles made that show though.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:34, archived)
# Was Paul Merton ever in it?
I did like Tony Slattery though - but for other reasons :)
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:44, archived)
# He was occasionally in the earlier ones.
He wasn't very funny though, he just intentionally refused to get jokes or go along with the stuff generally in a way which was meant to be funny but wasn't.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:45, archived)
# I wish they would release Paul Merton's series on DVD
That was one of the only shows (including Alexei Sayle's 'Stuff') that would send me into fits of breathless, choking, tears-in-eyes laughter
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:48, archived)
# I don't get that kind of laughter often, more the fact I don't laugh much when I find something funny than the actual quality of material.
But generally there are a few scattered comments or lines in the really good shows which will make me burst out laughing.

Plus the first time I saw Stewart Lee's Scotch routine I nearly pissed myself from the sheer bravery of it. Glasweigens rarely laugh at being called gay paedophiles.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:53, archived)
# Same here - I don't laugh out loud that often,
but it's fantastic when something creeps up on me and makes me unexpectedly guffaw :)

Kathy Burke's facial expressions can do that :D
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:58, archived)
# that's a point.
now i come to think about it, that show was crap! why the hell did i watch it?
ah, that's right, to see if sandi toksvig would reveal her true alien self.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:36, archived)
# Aww
I rather liked Sandi Toksvig - but I really couldn't explain why.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:46, archived)
# she had a weird kind of androgynous thing going on
she just creeped me out.
definitely not human.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:50, archived)
# haha. You will hate me more each day.
Bill Bailey used to be my next door neighbour in Hammersmith.
(, Sat 17 May 2008, 15:21, archived)
# and yet you still live.
truly, this is an unfair world.

Except that the BBC site is borked at the minute.

# Shite!
So basically here since you're 14. You lucky bastard. You have a talent that'll keep you
sorted for cash for the rest of your life!
I'm lucky enough to have that with engineering of most kinds.
Trust me. When times are hard you'll he consider yourself extremely fortunate to have that to fall back on!
Plus art is like audio, which I have spent a lot of time working in, it gets the lay-deez!:P

I always love to use Flash by Queen. As ther's no real drums it's probably the most manipulable track evah. :D
