Since I only turned on a few minutes back

I've managed to miss about half the entries. I'll watch out for teh Swiss on this run through.

I may vote for the UK but I've no idea what we entered. I might be more likely to vote for Finland for being insanely homoerotic and over-the-top...

Edit: Yes, the Greek entry is very nice indeed.

The Swiss crashed out in the semis.

A small consolation for all the stick about the football I've been puting up with lately. Yeah 'cos Switzerland blitzed their groups stage, didn't they? Oh, wait...

have fun with the footy. i'm quite looking forward to it. i can ignore it when i want and watch it when i want and since i generally avoid the german media i won't have their footy shoved down my necks, while the british media will be pretending nothing's happening.

i *was* planning on visiting austria in the next month or so but i think i'll make it very late to let the football drain away.

They were so pleased that England went out

as they expected the English fans to trash the city. In stead, they've got the Greeks, Italians, French and Turks - currently Europe's most violent fans.
It makes me feel warm inside.

That the Turks are still allowed into competitions staggers me. That the Italians are allowed in doesn't, since UEFA are probably run by the mafia anyway, so the murders and violence riddling Italian football can be happily ignored.
