my old bio teacher had chicken pox three times, then got shingles, she was gutted

although if you do get it again it's usually shingles.
as it's herpes she probably got slight mutations of the virus which most people's immune systems can deal with but hers couldn't.

think there's very few diseases where you're infected by the exact same virus/bacteria twice as they evolve so quickly
