if i were a boss man i'd kick anyones butt i saw even looking at the bbc news page while i was paying them to do something else. that said i'm rather glad we have a lot of folk skiving off work to post on here, weekdays would be so dull.

I've had laborours that think there was some agreement that when I said sweep up and keep the site area clean I actually meant spend all day receiving from and sending pointless text messages to the most recent chav floozy they picked up. Trust me, when it comes to working for me, you can get from 'verbal warning' to 'out the fucking door' faster than you can say 'predictive text'.

i'm self employed and i do a fair bit of gardening and suchlike, i say fair bit but not as much as i need to really, i feel guilty stopping for punter supplied tea, they don't pay me to be drinking bloody tea and as for chatting on the phone that's definitely not something i would even consider doing. old school work ethic.
