Well I think it's more that from the trousers the person is being viewed slightly from the side,but the body is more or less straight on, which looks a little confusing.
I think it's more the left leg than anything, it's quite difficult to tell what actual position it's supposed to be in, you probably need to mess with the shape of the trouser and the folds to get that right.
